Over 150 laborers engaged in constructing the North Microrail project in Kamchatka
In the Northern microdistrict of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, work is underway on a significant residential project known as the "Far Eastern Quarter." The developer responsible for this undertaking is the company "DV-Stroy."
Currently, over 150 workers are involved in the construction, which includes concrete work, reinforcement installation, formwork, utility network laying (water supply, sewage, and heating), and more. By the end of 2025, it is planned that 619 new apartments, totalling 29,000 square metres, will be prepared.
The complex, spanning a total area of 124,000 square metres, will consist of six multi-apartment buildings. Four of these buildings are 12-story structures designed for social housing, while two are 16-story complexes featuring underground parking and public spaces.
The social housing in the complex will be distributed through the "Rental Housing" program, with priority given to various categories, including participants of SVO, medical workers, educators, cultural workers, athletes, and other specialists without their own real estate.
As of now, four of the buildings are under construction, with the fifth floor being installed on two buildings, and the third floor on one building. Moreover, more than 20 units of special equipment are being utilised in the construction process.
The first buildings of the complex are expected to be commissioned in early 2026, marking a significant milestone in the development of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky's urban landscape. The "Far Eastern Quarter" residential complex is set to provide much-needed housing for the community, contributing to the city's growth and development.
